Alex Howells has over 18 years experience working in the events industry organising a wide range of events from small corporate Retreats, seminars and parties, to large scale conferences, exhibitions and road shows.
Alex’s work takes her all over the world and she has extensive experience in running events both at home and abroad. Travelling is not unusual for Alex, having lived throughout her childhood until her early twenties in the Middle East, Far East and Europe.
Alex is the event manager for the charity Get Connected. Since getting married, Alex and Bob have worked collaboratively on various projects and raised in excess of £1000,000 by organising five star celebrity quiz events and high end auction and dinner evenings.
Her clients have included large corporations such as IBM (UK and US), Gartner and VMware. Alex has been freelance for the past 8 years and prior to this worked on a permanent basis with ICBI, a pan-European division of IIR, and Sachs Associates. As a freelancer, she not only works regularly with private clients but also with numerous events agencies such as George P. Johnson. Her experience focuses predominantly on logistic support but she also has working knowledge of event marketing and sales.
